General warranty rules
The warranty period is calculated from the date of sale, i.e. the date specified on the purchase invoice issued by the seller.
If physical defects of elements and components are found, Technolight Technical and Commercial Office Tomasz Matkowski undertakes, depending on the degree of physical defect and the possibility of its removal to:
- remove the physical defect of the equipment,
- exchange the equipment for one free of defects,
- refund the cost of purchasing the defective equipment with the issuance of a corrective invoice.
Liability under the warranty covers only physical defects arising from causes inherent in the sold thing.
Warranty exclusions and limitations
The warranty does not cover and is excluded in cases of:
- Mechanical damage caused by external causes and not the fault of the Supplier;
- Damage to igniters, ballasts, capacitors due to the occurrence of surges in the electrical network;
- Damage caused by improper installation;
- Alterations and design changes made by the user or third parties;
- Improper or inconsistent with the instructions for use, storage and maintenance;
- Improper or inconsistent with the installation instructions of the luminaire, connection of the luminaire to a power supply other than that indicated by the manufacturer;
- Unauthorized repairs, alterations or structural changes without the consent of the manufacturer;
- Random phenomena such as: fire, lightning;
- Damage to bodies and shades as a result of chemical and mechanical agents;
- Natural wear and tear;
- Resulting from use in an inappropriate environment;
- Other causes attributable to the user or third parties.
In the case of an unfounded claim, the customer bears the cost of detailed analysis in the manufacturer’s laboratory, the cost of transporting the equipment, and any other costs incurred by the Guarantor necessary to process the claim.
In accordance with Article 558 §1 of the Civil Code, the seller’s liability under warranty is excluded.
